Introducing Dragonix

Dragonix

We’re happy to introduce Dragonix — a modern web chat built for IRC, with ZEnet as its home network.

What it is

Dragonix keeps your account and stays connected to IRC for you while you’re away. Close the browser, come back later — you’re still in your channels, with a short scroll-back of recent chat. You can also make end-to-end encrypted voice calls, and private messages between two Dragonix users are end-to-end encrypted too.

There’s a desktop app as well: the same site in its own window, with a tray icon, notifications, an unread badge, and optional start on login.

Discord bridge

Dragonix also includes a Discord bot that bridges a Discord server to ZEnet. Members and text channels appear on IRC, and messages flow both ways — so people on Discord and people on IRC can talk as if they were in one place.

Privacy-minded by design

  • Messages are kept for at most 7 days for scroll-back, then deleted
  • Voice calls are end-to-end encrypted and are not recorded
  • No advertising, no analytics trackers, no selling of your data, no AI training on your chat
  • You can export your data or delete your account yourself under Settings → Account

Beta
